Solution: Client Portal Development Sanquin was so pleased with the initial Mendix portal that we were also able to begin to map out the bigger picture. Scheduling donations online is convenient for the donor, but how do you attract and retain donors? That's why we expanded the initial 'Mijn oproep' (Client Invitation) portal to 'Mijn omgeving' (Client Portal). This enhanced version offers donors much more information and capabilities, such as: Managing appointments Changing personal information Viewing donation history, including medical information such as blood pressure and hemoglobin levels With the combination of Mendix and Azure, we can provide donors with secure access. The donor logs in using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to verify user authenticity through more than just a password. This ensures privacy and creates a functional environment for the donor.
Results: The result is two easy-to-use portals for both employees and donors. Donors can easily view schedules, create and modify appointments, and access and update personal information on their portal. Additionally, the Sanquin employee portal provides greater insight into blood demand, which donors are available for donation, and the schedule and occupancy rate.
