So, if AZL can achieve better, smarter, more efficient and digital (online) communication they we can better serve the participants while also managing the costs for their clients. But it must be correct and safe, because it involves important and highly confidential information from the participants.

So, if AZL can achieve better, smarter, more efficient and digital (online) communication they we can better serve the participants while also managing the costs for their clients. But it must be correct and safe, because it involves important and highly confidential information from the participants.
Solution: AZL has chosen Mendix as the platform to develop all internal and client facing apps, as it is a flexibel and easy to use platform. AZL has a partnership contract with Ciphixand they have access to 3 MX developers at all tine to maintain and develop apps. This solution is a full Straight Through Processing (STP) app that handles bulk documents and runs a transparant process for all members and provides secure document access. The application links to their Oracle backend and DNP / customer portal.
Results: As a result, the participants can select how they want to be contacted, or receive the communication and documentation about their pension. In addition, each customer has a login to a secure environment, which contains the personal communication and documentation about their pension. Most importantly AZL is able to use digital communication more often than hardcopy mail. Digital communication costs much less and is a lot faster.
