Business Need: Planning the way Eurocept wanted, very ad-hoc and incidentally, wasn’t possible in Nedap.
Solution: The scheduling software offers a visual and user-friendly dashboard that easily: Schedules patient visits, taking location and travel time into account. Integrates medication needs per patient and the complexity of medication distribution. Nurses' specific competencies, such as IV administration authority, are incorporated into the scheduling. Furthermore, the application provides insight into current nurse availability and automatically optimizes routes, reducing travel time. This is made possible by AWS Location Services, which we also successfully implement in the solutions of our Transport & Logistics customers.
Results: A fully working plantool, which gives the best moment that a qualified employee has the shortest travel distance to the patient. Digitizing knowledge One of the key benefits is that the personal knowledge of planners and nurses, such as assigning specific tasks based on competencies, is now automatically incorporated into the planning process. This makes planning more reliable, more scalable, and ensures it is always up-to-date.
