MRPL Intranet

Description

Our client was struggling with a rigid, legacy SaaS intranet that could not adapt to their evolving internal workflows. Because the platform was non-customizable, employees were forced into inefficient, 'one-size-fits-all' processes that wasted time and caused frustration. The organization reached a breaking point where the inability to integrate essential internal tools meant information was siloed, collaboration was stifled, and operational agility was significantly compromised. They needed a flexible, unified digital workplace that could evolve alongside their business needs.

General Information

Business Need: Our client was struggling with a rigid, legacy SaaS intranet that could not adapt to their evolving internal workflows.

Solution: We replaced the restrictive legacy system with a fully bespoke, future-proof Intranet built on the Mendix platform. This new solution serves as a centralized hub, housing multiple interconnected business applications tailored specifically to the organization’s internal workflows. From a business perspective, we transformed the employee experience by consolidating disparate tasks into one seamless interface, drastically reducing context-switching. Technically, by leveraging Mendix's low-code architecture, we created a modular ecosystem that allows the client to easily scale features, integrate new APIs, and modify existing processes without the limitations of a rigid SaaS provider. This move from a 'black box' vendor product to a custom-built, Mendix-powered portal has given the client full ownership of their internal digital landscape.
