The placement of young people in secure youth care involves multiple parties, such as referrers, placement coordinators and care providers. A lot of sensitive information needs to be recorded, shared and followed up carefully. The process therefore had to become smoother, safer and more consistent, with less manual work and a lower risk of errors.
Business Need: The placement of young people in secure youth care involves multiple parties, such as referrers, placement coordinators and care providers. A lot of sensitive information needs to be recorded, shared and followed up carefully. The process therefore had to become smoother, safer and more consistent, with less manual work and a lower risk of errors.
Solution: Jeugdzorg Nederland uses the TLS referral and placement system, built with Mendix, to support the administration and communication around placements. As development partner, Axians is responsible for the ongoing development of the system and translates user needs into improvements, such as notifications, process optimisations and changes related to laws and regulations.
