Business Need: Stichting Salvage relied on a legacy incident management system that had been in use since 2010. Over time, the platform became increasingly difficult to maintain, lacked the flexibility to support evolving operational processes and provided limited visibility during larger, more complex incidents. In addition, outdated technology has made future development and integration challenging.
Solution: Following a discovery phase with Salvage coordinators, call center staff and partner organizations, CAPE developed a custom management portal designed around Stichting Salvageās daily operations. The new platform streamlines incident registration, improves oversight of large-scale incidents and provides a modern, user-friendly experience for all stakeholders. To support reporting and data-driven decision-making, the solution is backed by a dedicated data warehouse, enabling advanced analytics, Power BI reporting and the integration of external data sources for deeper operational insights.
