Veiligheidsregio Twente used a SharePoint-based application to collect and share safety information across the region. As a result, monitoring risks, identifying developments and sharing information between safety regions became increasingly challenging.

Solution: CAPE developed IntelConnect, a custom Mendix application designed specifically for the Veiligheids Informatie Knooppunt (VIK). The platform combines interactive dashboards, geographic map visualizations and intuitive user interfaces to make safety information more accessible and actionable. IntelConnect enables users to monitor activities and risks across the region, quickly identify deviations and share information with neighboring safety regions and national crisis partners. Through dynamic data exchange and flexible architecture, the solution supports both current operational needs and future development.
